ABOUT ME
I entered the professional workforce through service as an Americorps (Minnesota Reading Corps) member. I then transitioned into Montessori education and was a lead teacher for eight years. As I was managing a classroom full-time, I was the main content developer for the school. I found a love of social media marketing and am excited to transition into the marketing and communications field.
I believe my purpose in life is to be of service to others. For the past 10 years, I have encouraged my passion for service in the early childhood education realm. I spent two years as an Americorps (Minnesota Reading Corps) member in a low-income public preschool, then followed my roots to the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) training at the Montessori Center of Minnesota. I graduated as an M.A. Ed. from St. Catherine University the following year. During the year of intensive Montessori training, I started work as an assistant in a low-income Montessori school. I was promoted to lead teacher after receiving my AMI diploma. I then spent six years at another Montessori school as a lead teacher. At Children’s Workshop Montessori School, I not only honed my craft as an educator, but also learned invaluable marketing skills. I took over the school’s social media campaigns (Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn), and wrote newsletters, informative messages, and presented parent workshops. I am looking forward to transitioning to brand education and brand awareness in the nonprofit realm.
I am excited to start working in the nonprofit space. I am open to begin work immediately.
